Carmen, this is a wonderful, wonderful story, and I am so glad I have it to read over and over again.

Thank you for writing it and for sending it to me.

    Love you.

That really is a dazzler, although the tease of that sneak peek smarts a bit –any chance you could lean on the child to push that deadline?

Yeah, Carmen, that cliffhanger is a killer. Do we need to wait a whole year?

    Hey Carmie,
Mountain story was extra good. I will put a writing table between
the lemon tree (covered with lemons) and the orange tree
(not one orange in sight) and you can write a Florida story —
no mountains, lots of old people.

    Hello Carmen,
You don’t know me but I know your dad, and I know he really really likes books a LOT… and I can tell you that this book is better than any other book he has, and you probably know he has a lot of them. I have a lot of books too, but I don’t think I have one this nice. Hope to meet you some day, and can’t wait to see your next book!

Dear Carmen What a delightful story, I so enjoyed reading it to my grandsons, Myles & Jack. I am not sure we can wait a whole year for the next series but in the meantime we will just have to keep reading this one …..Good Job!

    Hi Carmen,
Wow, I really loved your story and your pictures were perfect in illustrating “the words between the lines” (if you don’t know what that means, ask your mom or dad).
I love stories and picture books, so I have a lot of them: including all of your dad’s that I can afford!
Your book ROCKS, so when you decide to publish it and any of your future series (like next years that is by the way —WAY TOO LONG to wait for) make sure that somebody in your family, like Gus (WOOF, WOOF . . .) lets me know!
    your fan,
    Sally
