Being aware of your outreach in the photo-community, I want to inform you about two photography-related pieces of information that might be interesting for you and your readers. This information is free of any obligations, and free to share with others…
The first one is a listing of the most relevant Portfolio Reviews in 2011
(and 2012, because some of them are biennial), with all the information
about dates, deadlines, reviewers, prices, etc.
I created this list (27 events in total) from the information available on
the Internet and my personal insight into the subject, as I have been
invited to most of them, at least once. Please have a look and feel free to
tell me if something is missing or inadequately presented, in your opinion.
Second, a list of available opportunities, grants and useful information in
the field of photography and visual arts.
Some of them are calls for participation, others are study grants,
residencies or testimonials, which were brought to my attention and may be
interesting for people working in the field. One of them, which I want to
highlight because I am personally involved, is the stipend call for a
Master Program in Madrid that includes people such as Martin Parr, Elger
Esser, Joan Fontcuberta and Alejandro Castellote, to name a few. The program
is called European Master of Fine Art Photography, and we offer one full
stipend and two half-stipends.
If you want to receive this kind of information directly in the future, you
can always subscribe to the website http://www.curator-ship.org. (I have subscribed to yours already)
If not, no other action is needed, as this is a one-time email, not a
newsletter or spam. I have sent it to you because I think it is useful information. If your email address has changed or if you want to stay in touch with me, just drop me a line.
